Knit our Dreams and Hope Singapore!

Writer: theinnerspacesgtheinnerspacesg

With great honor and thanksgiving, from Commission to Creation and Completion of an artwork to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Singapore Anti-Narcotics Association (SANA).

At Innerspace Sanctuary Pte Ltd, we are aware that re-entry into society is a difficult road for former inmates, especially in today’s changing labour market and shifting social and cultural landscape. We envisage a vision of an integrated network that begins in prison, fostering strong family bonds to provide offenders with skills to find a job quickly. Instead of discrimination, may they be granted the tools and community pillars to fulfil their goals and dreams.

Each flower was weaved to interlock loops of yarn with each colour and shape representing the diversity and imperfections in each one of us.

Let’s continue to knit our dreams and hopes with our brothers and sisters till each one is woven back into the fabric of society.
